Greetings from the Worshipful Master: My year in the East is coming to a close and I must admit it was a year of labor, of planning, of many hours spent with the members and brothers and a year of seeing effort come to fruition. I was asked recently about the building, the lodges and if anything happens here in this big place. I was so pleased to answer with many examples of how this building and its rooms and floors are being used for weddings, meetings and Masonic functions. I shared the Craft Show and Chicken and Biscuit dinner as the more recent additions to the venues. I shared how our lodge has 16 new Master Masons and more conferrals already planned. They were in awe of how the building and lodge has flourished and of the efforts to continue this great Fraternity and Masonry in Johnstown. When I began the year, I challenged Greater Johnstown brethren to help in my year in the East. I am pleased to report they responded and did so with all that was asked of them and much more. Thank you to all my officers and your families for the many hours of dedication to the craft. Thank you to many of the brethren on the side for helping where you were needed many times and in many ways. Thank you Alvin E. Just, DDGM, for your guidance and patience. Thank you Brothers Jason Piwowar, SW, and Joel Leone, JW, for your diligence and dedication to your duties and obligation. Thank you Brothers Mark Adams, PM, Secretary, and Richard Wehner, Treasurer, for your duties. Finally much thanks to the Great Architect of the Universe whom we asked in January to bless this year, it was a blessed and rewarding year indeed. Success could not be had but with all your assistance.  In closing I want to wish all of you and your families a joyous Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. Fraternally,

—Ricky L. Fetzer, WM
